Baby Boom

We are so fortunate to have a wonderful group of friends, most of whom we know from church one way or another. This group is very supportive and we feel blessed to be a part of this group. Nathan and I have the privilege of directing our Sunday Small Group Bible Study (whatever we are supposed to call it - we say "Sunday School"). I don't want to sound like I am using flowery words when I say it is our privilege, because it truly is our privilege. We LOVE these people and are so thankful for the love, kindness and encouragement they show to us. We often thank God they are in our life.

When you lead a group of young married people, you know there are going to be a lot of people who are starting their families. I want to tell you about this group. So far, there are way too many kids for me to count out of our 30 - 40 member class. I would estimate there are about 40 children so far. This year already one of the couples in our class had twins and another is expecting twins. If you can believe it, there are 5 couples who are expecting babies sometime this year, rumors of another couple and a couple of more families who would like to add to their family. This means that by the end of the year we could have 6-8 more babies from our class alone! We like to say, "If you don't want a baby, don't eat the refreshments!"

We are thrilled to share this path in life with our friends! For those of you who are praying that God will add to your family - we are praying for you too. We've been there and many days we feel like we are there!

We love you guys and thanks for allowing us to lead our class! You make our job easy!

We have a SS class that is amazing also. When our son was born 7 years ago, there were also about 5 other women pregnant at the same time. It was a crazy year! Within a two year period there were about 15 kids born! It was crazy! No one wanted to visit our class! We go to a small church and we easily populated the PreK and under classes!
