Today in Pictures

Nathan rocking a baby girl. Don't you love the hair? Do you think they would let us pack her up and bring her home? So sweet! She was crying and all she wanted was to be held. If I remember right, she is about a month old. We love doing this each morning.

We had a traditional Korean meal. You know the kind...no shoes, sit on the floor, eat entirely with chop sticks and vegetarian. It was big on cultural experience and small on yumminess. These are our friends Brent and Dania. They are leaving on Monday with their baby, Paxton. We have met some wonderful families and we are having a great time exploring with them.

These kids were doing a demonstration using a see-saw that they jumped on. It was fun to watch. This was in a cultural / artist area. The picture below is of a guy making candy a kind of nut brittle. I made this picture for my Mom. There was a parade of some sort with people twirling these things on their heads. Very interesting to see.

This is a palace that we visited. It was HUGE! They let us dress up as palace guards. How do we look?

We had a great time! We LOVE Seoul! After our "delicious" lunch, Nathan said that he had to have "massive quantities of 'real' food." We went to TGI Fridays. After that we went to this local bakery that we found that is really great. We had a cream puffs and hot chocolate. I failed to mention that it is freezing here. We walked around all day in about 36 degrees.

Looks like you all had a great time. I am sure it is nice having another couple to explore Seoul with.

That's Sanchon, right? Sounds like it wasn't Nathan's type of food! :) Glad you're having a good time!
